I'm 45 year old single mom and a breast cancer survivor. I was diagnosed at 44 when my son was only 15. I had a mastectomy and I've had many obstacles in my journey such as staph infections, reconstruction twice and a frozen shoulder and that was all just the beginning. Gilda's Club has been a great support during and will be after all treatments are done but my journey continues. My journey at this point has been over a year and still have at least 6 more months. I'm very thankful for everyone at Gilda's Club. It is a priceless resource for support for so many people. This wonderful place needs to continue the wonderful work they do for so many people and couldn't do as much as they do without donations. So, I am walking to try to raise money and give back to the place that has given me and so many others hope.
