I am proud to be part of Gilda's Club staff and am excited for this year's West Side Walk!  This year I am walking in memory of my Uncle Preston, my Godfather, who died last November.  My goal is to raise $1,000 for the free cancer and grief support programs offered at Gilda's Club Grand Rapids.  The work done by GCGR is so important in our community so people don't feel alone when they are dealing with tough things.  Gilda's Club provides important tools, resources, and support to help those on a cancer or grief journey.  When I was 18 years old, my mom died suddenly and there were no resources like Gilda's Club.  I feel that my grief journey would have been much different if I had access to support at Gilda's Club so I'm glad that we are here for people now.  Thank you for your support!
