The reason I walk is because I have heard those dreaded words....Your results came back positive, you have cancer. Those are words nobody ever wants to hear, it changes your life forever!! I walk for the people who have been diagnosed with cancer as well as their family and friends. I am grateful for every day I can call myself a survivor.

This is my 2nd year being involved in the West Side Walk as well as serving on Gilda's Fund Development Committee. I have witnessed first hand the wonderful way Gilda's staff walks alongside of people experiencing cancer and grief.
