I discovered my breast cancer in 2020, and went through treatment during the pandemic. No services were available to make me feel comfortable during this time, I was on my own. Due to the pandemic, I went through chemo and radiation alone without the support of family. Gilda's was there for me though, with the virtual meetings we had, I found the support I needed to get through the toughest time of my life!
