1/29/20 my mother suddenly passed away. She fought for her life for 10 days in the icu. She died from influenza. When she died I felt like I couldn't relate to anyone else. I lost my mom at 20 years old. My priorities changed and didn't line up with the average college student. Gilda's club has given me people that understand. It's the only place where I get to talk about my mom and how hard it is without her here.
