Join Susanne Werblow, founder of Kundalini Yoga GR, for an hour of conscious breathing practice at Gilda's Club Grand Rapids. Each week, Susanne Werblow will take you on a breathing journey by introducing you to a different breathing technique. Conscious breathing has been shown to reduce stress, increase alertness and boost your immune system. For centuries yogis have used breath control to promote concentration and improve vitality. Studies found, for example, that breathing practices can help reduce symptoms associated with anxiety, insomnia, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression and attention deficit disorder.

SoulCollage® provides a supportive way to visually reflect on your path and on what might be stirring inside. Using "found" images, we create a collage card - this beautiful expression of what you are currently experiencing. The cards are fascinating vehicles to uncover hidden parts of yourself. Even if you feel you are not creative, this simple process will engage you. If you can use scissors and a glue stick, that’s all the skill you need. All supplies and images and instructions are provided.

Conscious Breathing with Kundalini Yoga Time 9:30 AM

Join Susanne Werblow, founder of Kundalini Yoga GR, for an hour of conscious breathing practice at Gilda's Club Grand Rapids. Each week, Susanne Werblow will take you on a breathing journey by introducing you to a different breathing technique. Conscious breathing has been shown to reduce stress, increase alertness and boost your immune system. For centuries yogis have used breath control to promote concentration and improve vitality. Science is just beginning to provide evidence that the benefits of this ancient practice are profound.
Studies found, for example, that breathing practices can help reduce symptoms associated with anxiety, insomnia, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression and attention deficit disorder.
