Gilda's Club has meant a lot to me over the years I have worked here. The opportunity to honor the people in my life who have journeyed the experience of cancer or who have died from cancer on a daily basis has been such a blessing to me. I have the privilege to witness the healing power of groups and community. To help offer a space where we can be vulnerable enough to openly share all that comes with our grief and cancer diagnosis. There really is no other place in GR like this. I am proud to work here and so grateful for all the people I meet and the learning I get from them.
I walk in honor of my father who died 5 years ago, Sheila Pupel, my cousin Anna Clive and many more. Thank you for supporting me in this fund raising endeavor to support this wonderful community.
